Kite’s mission is to empower everyone with flexible, secure, and accessible mobile finance. We’re building a new-age financial system from the ground up to bring about full financial inclusion in India – a platform that can rapidly scale to millions of users and billions of transactions worldwide.
To help Kite accomplish this hugely challenging and immensely rewarding goal, we want to bring on board a Freelance Web Developer on a part-time basis. This is a remote position.
Here’s a glimpse into your work at Kite – you will:
- Develop a beautiful, responsive website with cutting-edge animations
- Work with Kite’s Design Team to create the interface according to design specifications
- Use the latest technologies to ensure smooth animations and transition effects
- Work on other websites as and when required (e.g. Kite’s internal wiki)
It’s essential that you:
- Are fluent in HTML5 and CSS3, and have extensive experience with JavaScript & libraries like jQuery, Velocity.js, and Motion UI
- Care about quality and pixel-perfect layouts
- Write CSS for responsive and adaptive design
- Optimize code to ensure smooth performance on different devices and platforms
- Have a base knowledge of accessibility, SEO, UX and other aspects of front-end development
We’d love it if you also:
- Have a solid understanding of developing PHP-based dynamic websites
- Have experience with CSS Preprocessors (SCSS, LESS etc) and with grid systems
- Know Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools
- Can work with bug tracking and project management systems like JIRA
- Tend to research and experiment with cutting-edge technologies in the web domain
